My Little Cainite: Friendship is Murder [V20] (closed)

In 2009 the Sword of Caine made a push to take control of Philadelphia from the Camarilla. They were led by Osa, a Gangrel named as Bishop to conduct a war. Under Osa's guidance, the Sabbat conducted clandestine mass embraces in the City before ultimately unleashing a horde of "shovelheads" during the midnight concert at Xcon 11 on Halloween night. The frenzying fledgling vampires wrought carnage that was later spun as a massive terrorist attack by the Camarilla. The truth was kept hidden from the public to preserve their precious Masquerade.

Over the course of the next time months, he Sabbat war effort stalled and ultimately fizzled. By the end of summer 2010, Bishop Osa and three of the five packs who had started the war were dead. It prompted Cardinal Vytas to step in and shift focus to recruitment. The sword needed good people, not just slavering hordes. Unfortunately, good people proved to be in short supply. While the Sabbat would not give up the city, there was a drawdown of forces to permit some to direct their skills to war efforts elsewhere. Some few were left behind to watch and listen.

It has now been ten years since the Sword of Cain sought to darken the shadows of Philadelphia with their number. Freak Show is the only known element of the Sword to remain within the city for any part of the last decade. Those Cainites have put out the word that help was needed to begin loosening the stranglehold of the Camarilla on the city.

That word is coming to those in the Sword who are smart, quiet, cautious, careful, deadly, and skilled. The downfall of the Ivory Tower in Philadelphia is to be orchestrated not through acts of wanton violence and terrorism, but rather those of subtlety and precision. The overt approach was tried and found wanting, the time has come for movement in the shadows.

Only those Cainites who have proven themselves to the Sword need apply. The Sword marches on Philadelphia over the ashes of the untried, untested, and unprepared. The mistakes of the fallen will not be tolerated again.
