Antonius is a skilled fighter trained in Spartha, Gladius, Pilum, and recurved Bow use as a personal Guardsman for the Ruler of Nova Roma a Praetorian Guardsman.

He has a good singing voice and is not bad with a Guitar.

He has also been training in weapon and armor smithing of typical Roman Arms and armor

Personality:
Driven and dedicated… somewhat obsessive in feelings of duty and Honor. A Hero to be sure but some time a little hard to get along with with his Very ‘Roman’ world view.  Everything is a challenge to be met and faced with grim determination to succeed or die trying!  Kind of intense… but when reached a loyal and unwavering friend… self-sacrificing and some might even say suicidally brave!

He is in love with Amara Juliana Olivians Aquilla the recognized soon to be Queen of Nova Roma, though he hides his feelings knowing such are inappropriate for a Praetorian Guardsman to feel for his eventual queen.

Culturally he is a fish out of water… and is still getting use to the modern world… though he does seem to have some natural talent as an aircraft pilot… though his training continues, his landings need a little more work.

Brief History:
Marcus Antonius Cassius Arellius Silva comes from the Amazon Kingdom of Nova Roma the same home of Amara – MAGMA of the New Mutants.  His family has a long tradition of being Praetorian Guardsmen of the ruling Consul.  Marcus Antonius is a second generation actually born a mutant in Nova Roma and unlike many of the kingdom has only ever known the Nova Roman way of life and was among those who stayed even when it was revealed that the entire Nova Roman kingdom was merely a mental illusion crafted by the psychic vampire Selene.  When the survivors realized that many of them where just South Americans who had been memory modified by the evil Selene many had nothing better to go back to in the ‘real world’ so many stayed to continue in the simple life in Nova Roma.  But there is unrest in the Senate.. as the Senators cannot agree on who should rule as regent.. when it was discovered that Antonius was a mutant he was charged with traveling to the states to convince Amara to return to rule as Queen…

But superhero work with the Xavier’s School mutants has gotten him a bit side-tracked…
