Petyr Demavend
Name: Petyr DemavendHome World: Demavent is the moon planet of Caladan in the Delta Pavonis, allied to the Atreides, and the home of House Demavend, who have ruled it for eighteen generations, from their ancient stronghold "The Defiant". It has a small population of under 60 million. It is a mountainous fertile planet, Demavent's surface is predominantly covered with heavy timber and dangerous mountains and caverns; its climate is characterized by much precipitation and strong winds, with an average temperature of 68 degrees throughout most of the year. Some of the land is habitable with areas of mountain valley meadows, deep swamps, and dense forests. The resource base of Demavent consists mainly of agriculture and mining, with hunting serving as the primary sources of sustenance for its people. Other traditional products include wine, exotic animal furs, certain gemstones, and most prominently its resource of mineral deposits and rare ores such as the 'Skella Metallic' for ship building.

Commonly Known History:
Jacob Demavend, (64 years of age) received his nickname because he is the only member in the family trusted to transport 'Skella Metallic'. 'Skella Metallic' is a very rare ore found deep in the mountains of Devavent that is used to make protective bulk heads it is a highly valued item for any house interest in making military ships.
Jacob is an older man and began having children late in life. Jacob built his wealth at a young age and didn't have children for the fear of their assassin as possible heirs. Once he know he and his children would be far and out of reach in the line of succession, he found it safe to begin a family. He married well and in his early 40's had his first of three children.
Jeffery Demavend, (24 years of age) his nickname comes from his 'unkind' actions with several ladies in his youth. The stories are never repeated but the rumors suggest that he treats them poorly for his lack of interest, but his cruelty has been known to arouse him enough to perform.
Jeffery has not married, and he is rumored to fancy men over the ladies. Its said that his mother will pick his wife soon. Jeffery has a mind and body that is more of a warrior then a merchant. He is excellent with the blade and enjoys a hunt, above almost anything else. A military mind and quick to a fight.
Petyr Demavend, the youngest of the house (20 years of age). A 2nd cousins to the Atreides family line. His father Jacob is a distant uncle to the ruling head of House Atreides. Jacob and his line are well known and wealthy merchants. They hold one of the largest space vessel fleets and are paid well for transporting all forms of goods and more often troops. Many suggest that they are just smugglers, but they have never been convicted of any such crimes against the Imperium.
Petyr is a father's dream child and loved by his mother very deeply. This has caused a great deal of fighting between him and his brother. And now the family business has taken him away from his home and his sister. Petyr is not in any way physically attracted to his sister but many talk about the unnatural love they have for one another. Petyr can hold his own with a blade, but his mind is much sharper, and when he uses it, its known to cut much deeper.
Elaina Demavend, the only daughter (21 years of age) has found true love in her betrothed, of course this is second to her love for family. Especially the love for her youngest brother Petyr. Petyr and Elaina are close in age and have been inseparable from most of their lives. Over the last 2 years Petyr has spent a great deal of time away from home and his sister, learning the trade from his father.
