Alur'inth Vahadarr

At 5'6", Alur'inth is not the outlying physical specimen of her race that many of the main Vahadarr family are, such as her aunt Jys'arra or uncle Rendan. In truth, she takes far more after her commoner father, with her deep red eyes and a graceful and lithe build, a feature that only grew more apparent despite hours and years under the hard tutelage of first Rendan, then Selds'yrr.

Developing her own style to suit her body based on that training, she walks with the sense of a quick striking predator, an eagerness in every step as she scans a room when she enters, or in the way she seems to always lean just a bit forward in anticipation. This litheness makes her attractive in the traditional drow sense, and despite her not having many of the distinctive features of the Vahadarr family, she is still more than comely to look upon, if not exotic.

Rarely does Alur'inth seem relaxed, tending towards dresses that have a pointed militant bearing to them with their metallic, almost armored, corsets and bracers. It is always with the intention to hearken to her martial training, for even when wearing the silks does she have the red blade of her father, Qu'lith, at her hip. While until just recently she wore just a simple chain shirt for her armor, she has seemingly acquired a fine set of drow elven chain, razor sharp adornments jutting from it in a way that suits the young drow's personality. On her brow and around her neck are often a matching set of a silver and bloodstone circlet and pendant.

The product of Raen'astra'breena's attempt to breed the talent of of the commoner assassin Ilmryn into the Vahadarr line through her third daughter, Umrae'stra, Alur'inth was the only child produced from the pairing before Ilmryn was executed for having Vhaeraunite leanings. Showing no exceptional talent for clerical magic, and refused the right to attend the Melee-Magthere by her grandmother, Alur'inth was one of the first females in House Vahadarr to attend the Sorcere after many of the gender dynamics within the city were broken.

Graduating as a rather unexceptional student after only twenty years, the young drow threw herself into martial training, trading for favors to gain more skills than the basics that all noble drow learn, and eventually learning at the feet of Selds'yrr for a time.

While not immediately apparent, Alur'inth had become obsessed with the surface, delving into Vhaeraun's teachings in secret, struggling to join any raiding crew who sailed the seas above. It was on one such rare trip that she completely missed Jys'arra's rise to power within the House, though she became a loyal and vocal proponent of it after the fact. A proponent of drow superiority, Alur'inth has gained a reputation within the House, and to some extent the city, for being a supporter of conquering the surface alongside many young drow. She is also known to rush into conflicts, seeking glory without always thinking a scheme through. Still, she seems to have some level of favor with her new Matriarch, and has been assigned several mission directly over the past year.
