Circle of Six

Jys'arra's Cabal of Vhaeraunite Novices was one of her most effective weapons in her bid for power over House Vahadarr. Trained in ritual Circle Magic, their powers fueled her own, empowering her enough to overcome her mother and the protections of Lolth's chapel with relative ease. Originally a group of ten initiates mostly recruited from commoners and lesser families within the House, four were slain during the battles that occurred, and in the days following. Three were in fact slain by Rendan Vahadarr as he tried to gain access to his twin's 'conversion', before he was stymied by Belaern Vahadarr.

None can be considered a fully initiated priest of Vhaeraun, instead all six still only carry the title of the Unmasked, they remain the center of clerical power in House Vahadarr, and still act to empower Jys'arra each day, keeping her powerful enough to ward off any overt attempts on the House in its weakened state.

While Jys'arra is unquestionably the in control of the circle, and Zarii'eyl ostensibly outranks them both in House and church, there is an unofficial hierarchy within their ranks.

Kinvyh Eezin tends to be left in charge of their duties, trusted as she is thanks to her fanatical dedication to Vhaeraun. For decades she was Jys'arra's personal servant, eventually being trained to aid the Masked Traitor in the takeover of her House. Comfortable in her role as a servant, Kinvyh is not ambitious enough to of treason from, but dedicated enough that she refuses to fail her mistress and god. (Center)

Adilzi Yenvrei is the master poisoner of the group, and one of the most prolific contributors to the House's stores. Like many among the initial circle, Adilzi was a commoner servant, who has gained greater prestige and wealth than he had ever expected thanks to his service to Vhaeraun. Further prestige would not be amiss in his opinion, and he eagerly seeks greater teachings of his faith. (Farthest Left)

Itro Ti'Reynlah is a member of the lesser family of Ti'Reynlah, and while the females of the family never showed much talent in clerical magics, few had thought to approach the males until Jys'arra began to discreetly search for allies in her plans. Despite ostensibly being a noble, as a male from a lesser family he had little opportunity outside of being a soldier for the House, which is where he learned his martial training. Favoring the lightblade, Itro is fast and can easily catch an opponent unaware, and while his devotion to Vhaeraun might not be as fanatical as others, he enjoys his new position in the House far too much to risk it for anything. (Center Left)

Khotro started out working on the raiding ships, never trained well or lucy enough to make it as a true Corsair, he would later become a servant of a priest of Vhaeraun from House Araban. How he ended up in the service of Jys'arra is unknown, though the seeming alliance she shares with Viizra Arabani may have had something to do with it. It may be that he is only in the service of House Vahadarr until he ferrets out all the secrets of circle magic, before returning to House Araban. Even among the Drow of Rilauven, such actions are not to be unexpected. (Center Right)

Suilnan Bomi was a soldier among the ranks of House Vahadarr before falling under Jys'arra's sway. Assigned as one of her personal guards, he was well known for being a crack shot with his crossbow, and was the one to train the other circle members in their shooting as well. The most militant of the group, he is known to hold a particular grudge against Rendan Vahadarr, who was never punished for his slaying of circle members. (Farthest Right)

Drann Vahadarr is counted among the numbers of the circle, though his position within the main family allows him more leeway in his duties than the others, and has often set him apart. He conflicts regularly Kinvyh, feeling that the leadership of the group is his birthright.
