Zethira

The ATC used to be a part of the Mercantile Alliance. When Zethira became the Executive Director, under her leadership several reforms were made, and the company started to focus more on land acquisition, claiming setting up of logging and mining operations to widen the range of products it produced. When enough land had been acquired, she then revealed her plans and broke away from the Mercantile Alliance to form a polity of its own.

Constructed in the Acero Valley, the Arachne Datacenter is the central hub from which the entire Federation-wide Computer Network is secured, with connected computers running the ATC-developed ATLAS OS with the Arachne Network Security programs integrated into its source code.

RED = SMARTIE : Satellite Management, Ansible Reception, Technology Investigation and Evaluation.

quote:
Nestled in the Acero Valley close to the blossoming computing industry and counterpart communities, SMARTIE is based out of a hardened testing and research facility designed by Norman Walsh, a renowned architect. Nicknamed the Acero Cathedral and with it's military garrison, the facility and agency becomes one of the hippest places to hang out and tinker on hardware in the valley. Functions as a catalyst for satellite, ansible and sensor technologies that are undertaken here.
