Description: Misa appears to be a young teenage girl with a pale brown complexion, bright green eyes and long dark hair. She usually wears her hair pulled back into a ponytail by a leather band and dresses in durable leather pants, a short sleeved cream colored tunic, dark green vest and hooded woolen cloak. Misa's cloak is a chameleon cloak and can change its color at her whim helping her to blend in wherever she goes.

Misa has only been a Planeswalker for a little over a year now. She was born on Innistrad in Nearheath where she had a penchant for healing injuries. During the times of trouble before Avacyn's reappearance Misa's village was overrun by zombies. As the horde bore down on her and her family, Misa's spark ignited and she planeswalked for the first time escaping the horde and ending up in Zendikar. When she finally managed to return to her home, she was horrified to find that her family and most of her neighbors had been slain by the zombies. Acting upon instinct, Misa used her magic to destroy the zombie horde and consecrate the land where her village once stood.

Misa then began a search for Avacyn, starting the legend of a mysterious traveling priestess who could quiet the dead with her magic. In the end, Avacyn reappeared and found Misa first as the tide of darkness sweeping Innistrad began to ebb. Because of her powers and her conviction Avacyn offered Misa a place within the Church of Thraben. However, with her world no longer in immediate peril, Misa felt the call of the Blind Eternities and  decided to explore the multiverse instead.

Since then, Misa has traveled to many worlds and spent time with many Planeswalkers eagerly learning whatever they have to teach. She is fascinated by stories of Sorin Markov, who she learned is not only a Planeswalker from Innistrad like her, but the creator of Avacyn. She has yet to meet Sorin, but eagerly follows any clues to his whereabouts she comes across. Misa gets along well with most people, the only exception is necromancers who she hates with a passion because of the death of her family and the misery they cause on Innistrad.
