Rudo is a burly, densely muscled shield dwarf, standing a bit over four and a half feet tall, but weighing well over 200 pounds by the look of him. His scowling face is mostly hidden behind an enormous, bristling black beard, highlighting eyes of a light, almost reddish brown, and skin of a darkly ruddy complexion. He laughs loudly and speaks without restraint, although generally he prefers to let the blade of his enormous bearded greataxe do the majority of his talking for him. This he carries slung across his back over a hauberk of scarred chain mail and an ale-stained brown woolen cloak.

Seemingly the veteran of a hundred battles, Rudo carries himself with a supreme deadly confidence. While traveling, he wastes little effort on comfort and companionship, preferring to leave the idle chatter to the weaklings as he focuses on the task at hand with the efficient discipline of a soldier. But later, when the day is done and the taverns open their doors, Rudo's personality and appetites for vice awaken. Once the ale starts to flow, no man or dwarf could ever hope to outdo his lust for food, drink or wenches.
