Viktor Adokul was certainly not a normal one of his kind.  A rare Bugbear that realized rather than being a raider and bandit that he could not only defend those caravans from raiders and bandits but also collect up and sell the spoils of those he defeated along the way.  Between his pay and post contract profit from selling salvaged kit he would make a living far more impressive...not that it would help him enter many towns or cities without his contracts and the assertions of the caravan masters themselves.  Regardless of what he was the caravans were more than happy to hire his services and he didn't mind travelling anywhere...it's not like he had a home to return to anyhow.
