Personality: Luna apparently forgot the last time Rei's memories were erased: She's still a warrior born, powers or no powers. As hot-blooded as her inborn element, Sailor Mars is opinionated, selfish and quick to anger. While she is friendly (sometimes...), she really never learned how to be a proper friend, leading to her endless bouts of teasing Usagi and general tsundere behavior - if you haven't known her for a while, it can be hard to tell whether she's genuinely being nasty or coming on to someone. (And when she is angry or doesn't like someone, she has a nasty streak a mile wide.)

This isn't the whole story, however. Expensive private school and living at the shrine under her grandfather, as well as having been a Sailor Senshi, have made her the most focused and determined of the senshi (most of whom are no slouches in that department either), able to easily work through the night on getting something done or learn any skill she puts her mind to, and her grades were almost as high as Ami's back in school for this reason. And while she doesn't always show it, she's extremely loyal to her friends and can be certain to have their backs (though she'll try to get something out of it for herself - they'd be wondering what her angle was if she didn't!). In her off time, she enjoys singing, and has almost as big of a manga collection as Usagi. (And she has Usagi beat in the H-manga department.)

Romantically, Rei's been scorched away from the boy-craziness of her younger years, due to her dating experience being terrible even by Senshi standards. She often finds herself comparing her dating partners to Usagi (n-not that she's still got a little crush on Usagi or anything! Baka!), which often leaves her unsatisfied with any actual partner, and she can count the number of second dates she's been on with one hand. Despite being at a finishing school for young wives-to-be, she's mostly resigned herself to celibacy and commisseration with Minako, and is at a loss for what to do with the rest of her life.

Onmyodo: She can do this without transformation, and her ability was not affected by the sealing. She can foretell the future in flames, and can use paper talismans (ofuda) to ward an area against evil spirits, dispel evil spirits by touch, purify evil influences, or put an amusing dent in Usagi's forehead. In the latter cases, she normally yells "Akuryo Taisan!" before hitting her target with an ofuda.
Mars Crystal Power, Make Up!: Uses the Crystal Change Rod to become Sailor Mars.
Fire Soul: Sailor Mars can shoot a fireball from her fingertips.
Fire Soul Bird: A more powerful version of Fire Soul in the shape of a phoenix.

Since the sealing of her memories, Rei's life has degenerated a fair bit outside of her friendship with the other ex-Senshi. While she remained good in school, her attempts to score a date or a husband have consistently fallen apart; she went out with Yuuichirou a couple of times when she was feeling sorry for him, had a short relationship with drummer Maya Tohno (who got her first kiss), and several other disastrous dates - not a good sign for a girl who believed that her future was as a wife and mother. She tried to break into the idol business, but didn't fit the "type" that the scouts were looking for (they wanted cute, not beautiful).

With her grandfather's encouragement, Rei continued on her planned life track by attending the Tokyo International Swiss School, a finishing school for young ladies designed to teach the virtues of the yamato nadeshiko and help them land rich husbands, instead of university. She does make a very good tea and cookies, and is enjoying learning to play chess (though she'll never beat Ami), but she's increasingly despairing of whether she should be doing this. She's idly planning to start a band after finishing school, but while she loves to sing and write songs, and is very good at both, she never wanted to have a profession; the contrast is starting to irk her.
