P-P was originally called Precious but then his humans found out that he was totally and fabulously male.  Of course, they were at the vets at the time and decided to have the horrible deed done there and then and so P-P may be neuter but with or without those deciding characteristic, he is sleek and smooth and able to jump Great Danes in a single bound.

A more prosaic description has him shiny and black except for the white patches and of course the pink tongue.  He leaves the house to sleep.  He prefers the roof to inside.  He keeps a better watch from up there.  It is the blackness, such shiny blackness that leads cats to call him Midnight. Whether he is Mister Midnight, Captain Midnight or even Cardinal Midnight he is most certainly Midnight.
