Ysil is the most prosperous nation in the world, home to vast resources and a strong culture. One of the largest countries on the continent, it contains large deserts with many oases, one of the world's biggest rivers and the only one that flows North, jungles, and mountains. It is home to philosophers, scientists, artisans, and mages. Most importantly, it is the best spot on earth to find the Aqua Azuli, a mysterious substance that fuels all Mana. Here, too, are the most Relics found, thought to have been left behind by the Gods long ago. It is a land of opportunity, magic, wonder, and ambition. Walking down the street of Ysil's capital city, one never knows whom one might meet. A prince, the world's wealthiest merchant, an assassin, or the most renowned mage of the modern day.Micah is a bastard boy on the run from the palace, accused of ugly crimes by his own father. With his mother and friends left behind in the palace, Micah has no left to turn to for help. Surviving on the streets as an urchin, he plans to find a way to absolve himself and get back to the palace. First, something needs to be done about his father.
