Valandras

Valandras stands at a height of 6 feet, his celestial lineage evident in the luminous gold that hides beneath the shadows that drift through his eyes. Once-golden hair now carries strands of darkness and grows at a rate far faster than it should resulting in constant morning dagger trims. Wrapped in a hooded cloak that conceals much of his features, he moves with grace and purpose. Faint, intricate celestial tattoos on his hands have taken on an ominous, shadowy undertone, emphasizing the paradox within him.

Quirks and Mannerisms:
Heartbeat Surprise: Valandras's heart beats once per minute, a phenomenon that occasionally surprises even him.
Musical Tendencies: Used to always carrying a lute, Valandras has a habit of absentmindedly plucking at invisible strings during moments of contemplation or rest.

Equipment:
Valandras travels with a daggers as his only apparent weaponry, a component pouch, and an explorer's pack containing various essentials. His attire consists of traveler's clothes, and among his possessions a poorly wrought map from his homeland depicts the West Marches, a feathery ring replacing the one he hawked from his homeland adorns his finger, a pouch completely empty of gold pieces complete his belongings. Notably, he no longer carries a lute, a cherished instrument from his past, bearing the marks of use and care for many years.

Traditional Rituals: Valandras begins or ends his day with small, traditional rituals unfamiliar to those around him, a practice rooted in his celestial upbringing.
Code of Honor: A strong code of honor or sense of propriety, often misunderstood by others, guides his actions through the intricate dance of light and shadow.

Inquisitive Ideal: Valandras embodies an inquisitive nature, fueled by a thirst for learning in a land filled with new wonders.
Fascination with Beauty: His fascination with the beauty and wonder of the West Marches propels him forward, seeking to uncover the mysteries that lie in both light and shadow.

Language Pretense: To avoid interactions he'd rather not be a part of, Valandras pretends not to understand the local language, a flaw that sometimes complicates his interactions.
