Anira was created in the lab of Elizi Felcole, an Arkanian genetic engineer. Elizi was a rich and powerful citizen on Eriadu. As Anira grew and became older she became a talented doctor caring for Elizi and Elizi's rich friends. Anira was exceptional at her job but felt sorry for those she saw on the streets who she was unable to help. Genetic engineering has been illegal in the Galaxy for many centries, but a few powerful Arkanians found ways around the law, whether through bribes or by secrecy. Elizi used the former, but an unforeseen loss in investments caused her to be unable to continue making payments. She realized that she and her offshoots would need to go on the run.  She knew that if her and her offshoots were to separate there was a greater chance that she would not be caught.  At this time Anira was excited she headed out to the outer rim territories where a doctor was a rarity, so she could help those in need. She loved helping, but was unable to stay in one place for a long time for the risk of being caught and turned in for questioning on the whereabouts of her creator. Eventually she found a group of beings taking odd jobs to survive the life in the Outer Rim.
