A hill dwarf of average size.  He wears leather and holds a large crossbow.  A shortsword and daggers adorn his belt.  His clothes are mundane brownish earth tones.

Thaldir is a clan crafter.  Maker of crossbows.  Unfortunately, he is better at the crafting part than the business side.  His venture into the world wasn't as successful as one would hope.  Left broke by an unsavory human he had thought was his friend, Thaldir pivoted to another career.  He always liked the outdoors.  Now he leads others where they want to go and dabbles in his former career by making replacement bolts on the side.
