Name: Uziel De'A'rath
Description: Uziel looks predominantly like a chalk white elf. Which is exactly what he is. His hair is deep black and his eyes are pits of darkness speckled with stars. Uziel is usually silent. And dressed in sepulchre black or deep blues and silver he remains aloof from most other beings. His time between worlds has changed him.

Life story: Uziel is the fifth son of the Noble house Of De'A'rath. A high elf lineage with ties to both the crown and the stellar service. and took his name seriously despite being far down the lists of succession. Enlistment in the armed services was a credit to his Family. His magical power and calm demeanor marking him for early advancement. He rapidly rose to lead a small team of magically adept soldiers in the defense of the realms under his Lord's control.

Almost a century ago Uziel's patrol was caught up in battle with a group of portal using slavers. Leading his squad from the front Uziel was caught in a trap and ended up sacrificing himself by disrupting their escape, with the slaves, but was subsumed in the closing portal.
It was 245 years before another portal was opened to the same location. At which time Uziel De'A'rath fell limply to the station floor. His body bleached bone white and his eyes gateways to the void. Stripped naked apart from his officer's sword. His appearance was big news at the time, a lost high elf Lord, back form a time between universes. Sadly Uziel himself has no recollection of the time lost. On a feeling of remembered cold and burning need to hang on to power. Despite a decade of examination, no one is sure what has changed for Uziel. He feels different and seems more solid than he was before the accident. His magic is almost instinctive since his return, and with the changes to his appearance Uziel feels less elven than ever before. His dreams and sensen sometimes hinting at a greater change coming. He feels a seed of cold power in his heart, and does not know if he is truly the same being as he remembers from before the incident.

Uziel has spent the last few years retiring to the Nexus to research his experience and to complete his self-appointed exile. Uziel was forced to retire from the service due to questions of his mental state. So now he has taken his talents and looks to walk the void for his own enlightenment.


Flaws:
1). Impractical, between a noble birth, and military service Uziel knows very little about common life for Normal people.
2). Out of time. Despite the eternal longevity of elfs Uziel is a full hundred years out of context with the world.
3). Coldly practical. While honorable and in his own way noble, Uziel is not given to expressing his empathy or concern. He is experiencing a great loss, both from what was recent combat, and the temporal dislocation.
4). Mildly chauvinistic. Both in favor of elfs, and in favor of males. More chivalry than anything else, Uziel will on occasion dismiss the danger and potential of non-elfs and women.

Acrobatics: Uziel participates in several "free running" type sports. Both as leisure and as practice for orbital boarding. The zero G and grav exercise help distract him when he feels less than "Elfen"
