Folke is a handsome northerner with straight reddish-brown hair that falls across his shoulders and frames a slightly angular face of pale complexion and bright, inquisitive blue eyes.  He is not tall, especially for the northern clans and is slight of build but quick of step, moving with the sly grace of a woodland fox.

Commonly clad in travellers garb, a small flourish can bring his harp to hand and a thrum of gentle strings to the air.  His voice is strong and clear and his fingers are light on the strings as he switches from sad dirge to jaunty jig to romantic ballad to suit any occasion.

If met on the road or in more dangerous climes Folke packs away his tools of the
trade and relies on a weathered set of leather armour and his trusty spear to
ward off enemies.  A shortbow completes his weaponry, though he favours it more
for rabbit stew than more serious matters.
