Rurdean was fairly typical of a naar dwarf with his tan skin, brown eyes, and bright red beard. He was an older dwarf, and always dressed in the finest of clothing, as befitted his station.

On the road, he wore his splint mail and carried a shield with him, always prepared for battle. When not in armor, the edges of tattoos peeked out of his sleeves in summer wear, and could occasionally be spied just at the top of his chest if his head (and beard) was turned in the right direction.

He carried a myriad of weapons of war on his person when he was out in the wilds or in situations he thought might be dangerous.

His weapons were finely wrought, and his primary axe was inscribed carefully with intricate design work that left a space right in the middle of the axe head for an isolated rune etched in an empty silver field.

His shield was similar and also held a rune, though it was different from that on his axe.
