Her father was very strict and did not allow her to date so she is ready to live for her now. Though very demure, Ming loves to laugh and have fun as well. The only thing she can not handle is violence because her father was also at times abusive. Since turning 18 and heading off to university, she has become more curious and a little bolder. Showing interest in certain things that she would not have dreamt of only a year ago.

Ming is also very bright. Scoring a perfect 36 on her ATC. She was forced to study long hours by her father when not working at the family restaurant. She was granted full scholarship to University Of British Columbia. She is fluent in Chinese and English (though at times an accent is audible).

Backstory:

Ming was born in China and lived there as a young girl. Her parents escaped the country when she was ten and landed in San Francisco. Ming was very shy not knowing the language and had to learn English very quickly. Though unusually bright Ming picked up and mastered the language easily. She studied hard and made good grades through both elementary and high schools. When not studying hard or in school, Ming worked at her father's Chinese restaurant as a waitress/ bus boy. It was also during her childhood that she learned Tia Chi and herbal medicine from her mother. In her teens she studied Kung Fu of the Shaolin Tradition.

Her family instilled in her the love of Eastern Culture including herbal medicine, Tia Chi, meditation, and oriental food so she has never forgotten her roots. Ming had a very strict father and upbringing. She was never allowed to date. It was almost as if her father was protecting her from someone or something. Her mother was always subservient to him and Ming thinks that is the way women should be.

Attending university was liberating in many ways, allowing Ming some freedom that she never had before. Being a natural submissive, finding a dominant partner has intrigued her greatly. She thinks she is ready to explore having a relationship with the right person but remains very green to the dating scene.
