K'rell Dastireth

K'rell Dastireth is a 200 year old Gold Elf and retired veteran of the Akh'Velahr ("The Army of Might"), Myth Drannor's elite scouts, where he quickly rose to the rank of Faernaa commanding four Rings of diverse elves, humans, and fey folk at the Battle of Tilver's Gap in 619 DR against the orcs of the Thunder Peaks. A well read military historian, cartographer, and accomplished swordsman, he has written many books on Cormanthorian warfare, both as a historical researcher and a contemporary participant. The backs of his hands bear the black lightning bolt tattoo of the Akh'Velahr, and many small Crossed Swords commendation tattoos spiral up his right arm from wrist to shoulder forming a sleeve, each award chronicling a confirmed kill of an Orc or a Drow. Over the last 80 years he has fought in every major war to have involved the Akh'Drannor.

As the sole surviving member of Clan Dastireth, he carries himself with dignity and nobility as befits his upbringing in a minor clan aligned to House Starym. He served Myth Drannor's military and joined the Company of Light. He was a participant in the Battle of the Walking Man, a bloody conflict of great losses that has haunted him for the last 10 years. He feels a sense of despair over the might that Cormanthyr once possessed, afraid that the empire is corrupting and falling, thoughts he usually keeps to himself. This makes him somewhat paranoid and hypervigilant, urging people to stockpile food, weapons, and equipment for a coming darkness and war he's not quite convinced that many will survive. This even shakes his ardent faith in Corellon Larethian, father-god of the elves as too many now call upon Abyssal powers.

His small 5'3" 139 lbs. frame deceptively hides his strength and athletic constitution. In battle he is a glittering show of enchanted mithril armor and expertly wielded twin longswords.

His usual witty sense of humor and aloof attitude is becoming soured as the Mark of the Walking Man on his left forearm has begun to become irritatingly painful to the point it has broken his Reverie trances.
