Paladin was a Took, something that was a source of pride. He didn't mind the queer looks he sometimes got from other Hobbits, it seemed that odd-ness was something in his blood. He was born odd, having red hair on his head and feet, causing him to stand out amongst his own kind. He was a little shorter than some Hobbits, just a few inches over three feet, but he stood tall wherever he went. It was rare that he wasn't seen with a smile on his face, one that hinted at his mischievous nature. While traveling he carried what he needed to cook a meal, included a few herbs and spices that were harder to come by. His pots, and ladles where packed with care, and surprisingly not a rattle escaped his pack while he walked. While traveling or hunting, he slung his bow across his body, with his quiver on one hip and a small blade on the other.
