Appearence
Long and wild greying hair and a gruff beard. He has a square jaw and thick jowls. His brow is low and intense, and his eyes are a dull blue. His nose is large and slightly crooked, as if it were broken once and healed incorrectly.
Personality
Troy puts a lot of trust into protocol. He believes that proper procedure and conduct will make any operation go smoothly. Troy is usually courteous, but he lacks sympathy. He is quick to trust and often sees relationships as deeper than they really are. His curiosity often gets the better of him, and he can be seen as nosy.
Background
   Troy was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He ran track in high school, and enlisted in the U.S. Military the day he graduated. He grew up reading science fiction novels and comics, fascinated with space and the idea of going to a new planet, or meeting an "alien." That was just a dream, though, and he felt that it was more important to defend our home on Earth. He soon realised that there would soon be no Earth left to defend, and so he became disillusioned with the military. He didn't reenlist, and instead went into the Private Security sector.
   There, he became a security guard for Tertiary Solutions at one of their offices. He found he had a talent for pacifying threats by non-violent means. He once talked an employee off of the edge of the building's roof, and defused a hostage situation later the same year. He applied immediately after hearing news of the Expansion Project. He had been the Head of Security at one of Tertiary Solutions facilities for a few years, and he saw an opportunity to chase his dream. He had very few ties on Earth; his parents had passed and he had never married or had children. He saw this as his chance to defend humanity.
