Matriarch Adyra

Matriarch Adyra is one of the oldest, and most well-respected voices of the Asari High Command.

A native of Thessia, she is old enough to remember a time before the turians were granted a seat on the council. She has had more than 1000 years to become set in her ways, and she is considered one of the High Command's more conservative voices. She owns vast sums of wealth and property, investments that she wields with great skill and subtlety.

Recently (that is, within the last 30 years), she has observed the meteoric rise of humanity and the Systems Alliance, and is extremely skeptical of their massive military, and their place in galactic politics. She considers humanity a much greater threat to asari interests than the krogan, the batarians, or even the geth.

Adyra maintains her health by taking daily walks along her private skybridge, attended by her assistants and a trusted cadre of commandos.
