General M'Gufinous Thanix

General Thanix is a high-tier turian weapons engineer, and was placed in charge of the dismantling and reverse-engineering of the geth's flagship, Sovereign. This led to the creation of the Thanix Cannon, a scaled-down version of Soverign's main gun. This weapon has the potential to revolutionize ship-to-ship combat.

In 2183, General Thanix was apparently kidnapped from the Citadel by Blood Pack mercenaries. The general was later implicated in arranging his own kidnapping, as well as the theft of the turian patrol frigate Celebrant's Demand, also known as the Seedy. Now re-christened the Toc'Sin, this vessel is believed to be responsible for attacks on a cruise liner and the destruction of a salarian cruiser. It is currently at large, and may be equipped with a prototype Thanix Cannon, in addition to a jury-rigged stealth system.

Thanix' wife, Lucretia, served as a quartermaster aboard the Hierarchy Dreadnought Indomitable. She has since retired, and is currently on vacation on Palaven.

The general maintains an apartment on the Kithoi ward, overlooking Palaven Gardens. It is tastefully decorated with typically turian objet d'art; models of ships and buildings, mounted melee weapons and trophies. Pictures of General Thanix with various VIPs adorn the walls.
