Brije is a being of two worlds, the immaterial and the material, and his forms are as fluid as the state he occupies, either dog or man depending upon the god's whim.

Most people who meet Brije first encounter him in his canine form, a tall, slenderly built hound whose head rises to about the hip of a tall man. Grey-Brown and almost hairless with golden eyes, the god most resembles some of the sacred hounds of the Ixcoatli region, noble dogs that fiercely guard the tombs of kings and priests.

When he deigns to assume a humanoid form, Brije's assumption of humanity bears disturbing hallmarks of his canine form. Tall and slender with the same grey-brown skin, he is clearly not human. Too thin, too large of eyes, teeth just a little too sharp. Alien, he still gives off an air of canine pleasure at being in the company of humanity.
