Keilbrun (Kyle) Osh

Keilbrun (Kyle) Osh
Male, Near Human (Kiffar)
23 years old
Soldier (Commando)

Kyle is fairly tall (6'2") and athletically built (210lbs). His light brown hair he maintains in a military close military crop. His eyes are sharp and hazel in color. He has a yellow tattoo that vertically crosses over his left eye from his forehead to midway down his left cheek. He tans in a light golden hue that almost make the tattoo disappear. His facial features are angular and strong.

An energetic and relatively bright young man spend most of his youth working toward his goals of becoming a Kiffu Guardian and, eventually, part of the Senate Guard. One of those rare youths that knew what he wanted early on and, against the odds, kept that same goal into adulthood. He believed in the Republic, warts and all, and saw it as an opportunity to defend what he believed in.

The first part of his dream was met when he became a Guardian at 18 years old. The galaxy-wide respected law enforcement agency was pretty much what he expected and hoped for but, ultimately, it was a stepping stone for him. While possibly better suited to enforcement, rather than investigations, he still excelled at what he did and was given the opportunity to apply for the Senate Guard.

At 21 years old, he was accepted into the Guard, but nearly as quickly, realized that things were changing. The Republic was changing, as was the role of the Senate Guard. Not long after his training, it was clear that they were getting sidelined, their missions diminishing and more and more responsibilities being taken by the Red Guard put in place by Palpatine. It was frustrating, but he did his best with what he was given. The opportunity to work with the Jedi was an incredible experience he would not soon forget.

As missions dropped away, with more Jedi being called to war and the Senate Guard taking a back seat to the Red Guard, they were looking for places to shunt 'excess' personnel. Being relatively new, he was one of the first to be pushed into regular military service. As a use of his skills, it was probably a good call, but it was yet another slap in the face as he watched the Republic take yet one more step away from what he had envisioned.

He took his responsibilities seriously, and did his best to take care of the men entrusted to him, proving himself as a small unit leader and soldier in short order. He hoped that the war would end soon so that he might get back to doing what he had yearned for his whole life.
