Gus, or 'Swampman Gus' is not known by sight. Mostly because the stories of Swampman Gus seem to vary from person to person. Needless to say, the real Gus is not 10 feet tall and made of swamp matter. He is a large, powerfully built black man dressed very poorly and clearly had been out in the fens for quite some time. Despite that, he seems oddly healthy for someone in such harsh conditions. So healthy that if you cleaned him up a bit he would actually look good.
