Roland is a man who understands that his looks and his presence can be as powerful a weapon as any sword or spell. He grew up in the clergy of Bahamut, there he learned of sword, spells, and the power that could be wielded purely by the force of someone's force of presence/will.
Keeping that in mind Roland spends a decent amount of time on his wardrobe and the way he looks. Normally he has a slight shadow of a beard and his wavy sandy blonde hair is kept loose and shoulder length. His chainmail is kept spotless and gleaming and his clothes though not extravagant are kept clean and looking surprisingly new, which in and of itself makes him stand out. His Black horse Rose is similarly well kept in very good condition with glossy fur and shining barding.
