Rylkan Vor is of medium height, his head shaved smooth and his skin tanned from years of life spent on the road or out of doors.  He has broad shoulders, and a slim but muscular build.  He is normally found in his grey or white robes, bracers at his wrist, and beads on a length of twine wrapped around his neck. His hands are sometimes partially wrapped in stained white cloth, and his only visible weapon seems to be a plain, fragile-looking staff made of ash. His feet wear a pair of old and worn sandals.

His eyes are a mix of brown and green, and he was often told in his youth that they seemed to shift with his mood; more green when he is content or focused, and more brown when he is disquieted or angry.
