Sycmet

Description: Skymet stands about six feet tail, and her body is covered is the tan fur one would expect to see on a lion's body. She looks very much like the anthropomorphic lion she is, complete with a fang-lined maw, animalistic eyes, ears, and claws. She drapes herself in worked but undyed leather opting for loose leggings and a sleeveless top so her movements won't be hindered. She dislikes any form of foot covering, opting to trust her natural pads instead to handle various terrain. Though obviously female, she has a mane similar to that of a male lion.

History: Her tribe lived in peace for a time, until they were found by people who believed mutated beings had no right to live. Spears and slings could do little against armor and guns, most of her kinsmen were wiped out. It might have been that way for her too, as she was badly injured. Thankfully for her however someone else saw the smoke, heard the cries, someone who wasn't going to let being different stand as a death sentence.

The stranger was one against several, but he had armor and guns too. No longer shooting fish in a barrel, the killers gave up on their sport and ran off. The handful of tribes people scattered, not knowing if they could trust this newcomer. They didn't know Sycmet was still alive, but her savior found her and took her with him. He bardered for her healing and care, stayed until she was better, and arranged for her to learn a trade as a healer herself; he explained to her that in the world as it was now, everything had a price and trade was the only means to meet it. That didn't mean just martial items like a gun or car part, but skills too. It was easier to put holes into people he pointed out, than to mend them back up. This made those who could do such in higher demand, and gave her better bargaining power.

She insisted he come back and visit which he did, and when her apprenticeship was up she left with him claiming she needed to pay him back; that was years ago, and she's still by his side...
