A handsome man in his thirties, Dennis (his friends call him Denny) struck a confident figure in his chic, stylish and elegant clothing. He has shoulder length brown hair and a wispy goatee and he is blessed with movie star quality good looks. He was often seen with a drink in his hand, and his pet black cat, Pantera, swirling around his feet.

Dennis was the owner of Thiasus, an elegant, and happening nightclub in Las Vegas. The club was located off the Strip and was a ‘well kept secret’, and did not attract hordes of tourists. Those people ‘in the know’ however, came to Thiasus for its discreet atmosphere, beautiful men and women, fine food and drink, and an atmosphere where one can indulge in pleasure without worrying about what others will think. Thiasus hosts live performances every night of the week, and Dennis personally selects the bands/singers/comedians who will be performing. He sought out the best fresh talent, making an honest effort to help those with artistic gifts. He frowned upon the commercial prepackaged forms of entertainment.

The main rule of the club was that nothing was allowed inside that would disrupt the air of relaxed pleasure. This meant that the club did not cater to the extreme/fringe crowd. Thiasus tried to promote a culture where people of all proclivities can enjoy themselves. Activities that would be offensive to others (public sex, drug use, extreme fetishes, etc.) were not allowed in the public areas, and continued violations will get one banned from the Club. Violence was strictly prohibited, and all patrons were screened for weapons at the door. All weapons were checked by the staff, and returned at the end of the night. In addition, patrons were not allowed to drive home after a night at the club. This was enforced and most patrons know this (and arrive by taxi, limo, Uber, or other means). The club had an atmosphere of ‘eat, drink, and be merry’ about it and Dennis worked hard to keep it that way.

The Club was beautifully adorned, and the staff consisted mostly of young, beautiful men and women in elegant, sexy attire.  The food was superb, as Dennis has hired an amazing up and coming head Chef. All the alcohol is ‘top shelf’ – only the finest quality food and drink can be found at Thiasus.

Unfortunately, his club was also a hub for drugs and gang related activity.  Eventually, it was destroyed in a terroristic attack on the same day that Dennis was killed.
