Zu is a quiet man of average height. His muscular chest and wiry arms are on prominent display under a loose-fitting mesh vest with almost as many pockets as the threadbare cargo shorts on his legs. Both are a sun-faded memorial to grey. His bronze skin has more color, and the arcane patterns inscribed precisely across his upper body and up the left side of his face seem to crawl with mysterious portent any time you look at them from the corner of your eye.
The strange-looking man follows something in the background with an unwavering curiosity, even while someone is talking to him. If you try to catch his attention, he looks down quickly, as if it's difficult for him to match gaze with anyone--and if you watch him long enough, you'll find him muttering to himself at odd intervals.
