As a youth Pharvis was uncertain about the world but worked with his family and assisted his father who worked as a wood carver.  At the age of 12 his mother dies in childbirth as too did hid infant brother.  His father became more distant and would venture deeper into the woods looking for the perfect piece of wood.  This left Pharvis on his own for extended periods of time.  With his meager skills he was able to trade for food to survive.

The day came when his father did not return.  In the weeks following his bdy was discovered, badly mangled.  It is suspected he was killed by ogres but to Pharvis, it could have been bears, boars or any other number of murderous, blood thirsty beasts.

Shortly thereafter, he was taken in by Igraloxius to assist in the creation of wands and talismans.

Now a young man, Pharvis is still quite meek and unsure but his skill with woodcraft had blossomed.

Pharvis rarely ventures outside of the tower on his own accord.  When he is out it is generally upon the wishes of Igraloxius gathering supplies or materials for his magical arts.
