For a long time Keaton tried to present himself as a leader among the Caitiff. He sought to build a power base among them to propel himself into the upper echelons of the Camarilla however during the War of Chicago his true nature was revealed when he abandoned his fellow neonates to be slaughter by the dozens at the hands of the lupines and Sabbat. He probably would have left the city in disgrace if it hadn't been for the financial collapse of 2008. Clued into what was happening in the markets more intimately than other kindred at the time Gordon made an absolute killing by predicting what was going to happen and investing appropriately.

While he is still a Caitiff and looked down upon by the other clans his massive financial portfolio has allowed him to start outright buying property and influence among the mortal space and that power is starting to be reflected back in kindred space as well. Given the turmoil in recent times his bold maneuvers are being mostly ignored by the other kindred but it seems only a matter of time until he steps on one too many toes and runs afoul of the elders.

Tall, handsome, and always exceedingly well dressed, Keaton looks like he walked right off the cover of some "Most eligible bachelor" magazine. He is never seen without wearing a tailored suit that cost more than the average mortal's yearly salary and his most favorite fashion accessory is a wad of $100 bills that could choke an elephant that he brandishes around at a moments notice.
