The first thing most folk notice about Harry MacLeod is her beauty, 'statuesque' the term a more learned person would employ. Tall and proud, like some queen of old immortalized in marble. Hard and cold as marble too. The few who have tried to suit her state that Harry has no love in her, save for the sea. Collinsport natives recall the tragic deaths of both her father and mother shortly after the War and grant her somewhat more leeway. Her occasional fist-fights and drunken rages still land her in jail, however.

Problems aside, locals consider her a first-rate ship's captain with a genuine gift for finding the fish. Working for other people ceased to suit her after a time, and she currently runs her own charter service for tourists and visiting sportsmen. Some surmise that Harry blames the Collins family for her father's death, all those years ago, and no longer cares to sail under their flag. The generally tight-lipped Harry has more than once made her opinions known, vehemently and at volume, when the topic of Collinsport's founding family is broached.
