Born mostly blind and with a weak constitution, most meeting her in her early years would only pity her, being sick for long periods of her childhood, spending most of her days asleep and feverish. What she learned while asleep with her fever dreams, is that they were not simply machinations of her mind, there was something higher at work, her dreams being vague foretellings of what was to come. As she got older, she began to hone this power more and more, being able to more accurately recall the future and being able to call upon this power even when awake. As she grew into adulthood, her constitution began to improve, still being weaker than most, but permitting her to start living on her own, not needing constant care as she had before. Eventually, however, her powers warned her of a great storm arising, a Hero and a King being made, and she left her ancestral home, going off to travel the world in search of the Hero and king who she might be willing to serve.
