Appearance: Naomi is a pretty girl with a friendly face who tends to stand out in the crowd, even if thats the last think she wants. She is taller than many of her peers with long slender legs accompanying her thin frame. She is a natural redhead and has never even considered changing the color of her hair. The color stands out and goes very well with her light almost porcelain skin and faint freckles.

Abilities: At this level, a sensitive is likely to understand what is going on with them.  When their senses are alerted to a preternatural near them, they will understand at this point that for some reason, that person is making them feel that way.  They are able to pinpoint who is causing them to have that feeling, but they are not able to distinguish what type of preternatural is it, only that there is one near.

Naomi is able to distinguish when a preternatural is a gifted human due to her experience with them, but is unable to determine whether some one is a Lycan or a Vampire, only that they feel different to her than gifted humans.

Weaknesses: Naomi still retains some of the anxiety in social situations that she had developed before learning about her gift and as a result will sometimes become uncomfortable in crowded social situations. Especially when there are multiple preternaturals around that she can sense.

Personality in Brief: Naomi is mainly an introvert and will often avoid most social gatherings unless she has Caitlin by her side. This is not to say that she doesn't like people. She loves the company of others that she is familiar with and is typically friendly to all, she just has a tendency to be nervous around large groups due to the anxiety/paranoia that she struggled with when she was younger and first learning of her gift.


History: Naomi was born to James and Rachelle Blake in the suburbs of Dallas TX. She has an older sister Cassandra and the girls were always very close. She grew up in the upper middle class and had a great family life. Naomi had always been shy as a baby, and that continued to follow her as she got older. When she started going to school, the girl always chose to be alone rather than interact with the rest of the class and would and become extremely anxious when she had to go out to crowded areas with her family. She would tell her parents that certain people scared her or made her nervous, still to young to be able to fully understand or properly describe that feeling that being around gifted humans, vampires, or lycans caused her.

The nervousness continued to grow when she was outside of the home, and then when Naomi was in third grade, her family moved into Dallas and she was placed in a very large public school. Her anxiety continued to grow as she advanced through school and some of her teachers even made her uncomfortable, causing for some investigations when she expressed that to her family. When she started middle school, there multiple other students in her classes who would turn out to be gifted humans and this caused Naomi to feel a constant anxiety while at school, increasing to the point where she would often skip class to get away from the feeling that school caused her.

She was pulled out of the public school system by her parents and was homeschooled until she graduated at 17. During this time, her parents trie to have Naomi see multiple different therapists to help try and find out why she would get so uncomfortable outside of the home. Not knowing much about Sensitives, this just ended up with Naomi receiving the diagnoses of social anxiety disorder and paranoia.

After graduation Naomi attended a local art school and lived alone in the city, not making many friends while in school. She made a couple of close friends at, but contact was lost after she wasn't very willing to go out to parties with them. While at school she bought a cat, a little silver tabby named Percy, to keep her company and found her love for writing. She dreams to one day sell her drawings and become a published writer.

Two years ago while nearing the end of her art program something happened that started a change in Naomi's life leading her to find out that she was truly a sensitive and not just paranoid. The girl often visited the local library and would browse books in the art section looking for inspiration or working on projects for school. One day when she came back she was approached by a girl in the art section who caused her to have the same tingling feeling that used to cause her nerves. The two girls continued to talk after Naomi got over her intuit all fear and started to become very close.

Naomi learned about this other girl, Caitlin's gift of being a precognitive and together they were then able to put together that the uncomfortable feeling she had been getting her entire life around certain people was caused by her sensing the gifts that they possessed. Over time Naomi was able to adjust to the feeling due to spending so much time with Caitlin taught herself to recognize the feeling when she was near a gifted human. She is still unable to sense if some one is specifically and Lycan or a vampire, but she knows that those feel different than the gifted humans.

Naomi and Caitlin grew very close and started dating. After two years the girls decided that they wanted to start a new life together, far away from the pain and troubles that their past held in Dallas and packed up their lives, moving to Southport, NC.
