This habit has given her hints of some of the strengths and weaknesses that a vampire would have although if she were to stop taking the vampire blood for a significant period of time she would lose all of it effects and good back to being your average human. Due to the length of time that Eva has been taking the blood her body has basically formed an addiction for it and if she goes too long between doses she will start to get a bit cranky. This also however does come with the risk that if she were to die or be killed she would return as a vampire due to always having one's blood in her system.
You Don't Look a Day Over 23: The most obvious effect of the vampire blood is that the process by which her body ages has slowed down dramatically to an almost imperceptible rate. Her appearance remains almost exactly the same as it did when she first started being given the vampire blood.

She had fair skin before, but the vampire blood has made her even lighter and because of this any blush or flushing in her skin has a tendency to stand out more than it normally would. In addition to making her paler, the vampire blood has also made her more sensitive to the sunlight causing her to burn easily and prolonged exposure will leave her feeling uncomfortable.

Life was relatively normal and quiet for Eva until World War I broke out in 1913 when she was 13 years old. Her bothers and father went off to fight while the women of the house were left at home. Not much changed for the Wolf family but they eventually started hosting dinners and meetings at their home for the military commanders.
It was at one of these dinners in 1916 that she first laid eyes on Eirik Rabec, a guest of her father's. At the time, 15 year old Eva didn't know that he was a vampire or that this would me the man that she would one day call her own, but almost immediately she was enticed by him. His time with the Wolf family didn't last long, but the memory of the man never left the young girl's mind. Every time that her family home hosted a dinner she held out hope that Eirik would once again show his face yet her never did and anytime that she asked her father about him she was scolded and told to forget about the man and never speak of him again.
After the war ended in 1918, life for the Wolf family returned to its pre-war state but in towards the end of 1920 a strange man came calling at their house and began attempting to court the 19 year old Eva. He had a similar exotic appeal that Eirik had for 4 months he continued to visit her, showering her in gifts and doting on her. Eva and her family were quickly put under the mysterious man's spell, believing that his reasons for pursuing their daughter were to eventually ask for her hand in marriage. However unknown to the Wolf Family, the man was a vampire and had caught wind that Eva's blood was special, more potent, more delicious than that of a regular human.
In early spring of 1921, her family awoke to find Eva missing and a bloodstain left in her bedsheets. She had been taken by the man, the vampire, that had been after her for months. Eva was taken to his manor and locked away as his prized possession to feed from and use however he saw fitting. Her family searched for information about about the man and after hearing rumors that her captor was a Vampire Lord, Hans contacted the only man he know that had a chance in rescuing his daughter, Eirik Rabec, the White Death.
After being locked away for nearly 3 months, Eirik found her locked in a dark room, thin and weak with numerous bite marks in various stages of healing covering her body. Eirik killed the vampire that had taken her captive and gave her some of his blood to help heal her wounds and make her healthy enough to travel. His intentions had been to take her make to her family, but when Eva came to she begged him not to, asking him to take her away. Having him rescue her was the answer to her prayers and dreams that she had been having since she has first seen him 5 years ago. After some very insistent pestering by the girl, he finally agreed and they fled Germany.
