Hisashi stands at a moderate height, a little over six feet. His form is lithe with well toned and wiry muscle. He has mildly pale olive hued skin that has a faint golden sheen under sunlight. Long, black hair flows back from his head. Sometimes allowed to hang freely in the breeze but others tied up neatly into a topknot or a single ponytail. He has intense, piercing green eyes.

His attire is decidedly eastern. He wears fitted, slate gray hakama over tabi socks with waraji sandals. His top is a soft green kimono with a gold dragon embroidered across the left side. It has wide, flowing sleeves. Finally he wears a simple cloth belt wish he slips his daisho (his paired katana) in at the waist on his left side, angled back for ease of draw.

When he trains, he does so in only simple pale gray pants that fit snugly for free range of movement. Starting from the back of his right shoulder there is a gold with green accents lung dragon tattoo that wraps all the way around his right arm several times till it ends in the dragons head on the back of his right hand. He has a single scar. It's located directly opposite of his heart on his chest and is the vertical length of the width of a katana blade. The scar is on both his chest and back in the same place, indicating clearly the same blade created both in the same stroke.
