Name:  Katla

Age: 20

Occupation: Oracle (In training) and healing.

Physical Description: Katla has a slim but toned body.  She stands at 5’6” and her hair is a warm auburn.  She is a lithe and quiet mover.  Her eyes are a deep grey. She likes to keep her long hair back from her face by tying it back with a scarf or a piece of cloth.
Personality:  She is approachable and gentle. Katla can go from outgoing and friendly to quiet and thoughtful in seconds.  She will always try to help anyone she can.

Biography:  She spends as much time away from the family home as she can and is a very capable student.  The village wise woman saw that she had a gift for seeing the future and taught her the way of the oracle.  Now when villagers want answers to their questions they call for Katla.  Katla loves and hates her father at the same time.  Since her Mother died he became mean and sullen either ignoring the young Katla or beating her black and blue if she got in the way.  She is the only child.

Family: Her Father, Alfuir, is a Karl of the village.  He builds and repairs the village dwellings.  He is a prized fighter and ferocious warrior when the village sail out to raid.  Katla’s mother died when she was 10 from a wasting disease and her Father never truly recovered.  He rarely smiles these days and it known around the village as a bully.
