Synnove

Name:Synnove

Age: 18

Occupation: Thrall

Sexuality: Mostly heterosexual but will do just about anything for attention.

Physical Description: A shorter young lady with dirty blonde hair and a look more cute than beautiful but usually spoiled by her mannerisms which always seem a little self absorbed. She is slender and athletic from the hard work that has become her lot.

Personality: She was never a good person. Not deliberately evil or wicked but petty, self obsessed, attention seeking, lazy and sly she nethertheless had enough sense of self respect and honour to be honest when caught.

Biography: She was born to a well off family, her father a warrior and her mother a proud house wife and in charge of a large household. As a third child Synnove always wanted more attention. When working hard to get her parents attention failed she began to act up to get noticed and for all the trouble it brought her she succeeded in this goal at least. Getting older brought attention from boys and some jealousy from girls, which Synnvoe loved, although her reputation suffered from it (and was why the boys were always hanging about her). She treated her peers badly, trying to make them compete for her favour, and always wanted objects to validate her superiority. Then she saw Nelda's brooch and had to have it.

She actually worked for that brooch, putting in effort that might have earned her something as good legitimately. She learned Nelda's habits, where she kept the brooch and when it would be unguarded. She even tried to give herself cover of being with a young man she had well trained and did not miss her short absence. She succeeded in the theft but she couldn't take it home. A brooch of silver and bronze as large as her thumbnail the kotwork design was captivating and she kept it in a hollow tree and visited it regularly but was seen. Someone tattled and the trial that followed was horrendous.

Synnove had thought in her deluded way she was popular but no one would speak for her.Her family made it clear they would pay no gild on her behalf and that she would no longer be welcome. Left with nothing but her clever tongue she pleaded childish prank and was lucky to get away with being made a thrall. That she had not sold the ornament when she had opportunities enough was perhaps the sliver of doubt that saved her.

Family: (if any) She has been completely disowned.
