Physical Description: Aton is what one would expect an Elite Guard to be like, his training keeping him in physically fit condition, he has dark brown hair and light eyes, and a rather pleasing face. Otherwise his appearance is not imposing, not hugely tall or muscled, but his way of carrying himself and the gentle humour in his eyes still makes him stand out as a leader.

Personality: Aton is a devout Christian but he is also a man that has seen war and while he prays to God he knows wicked men lurk, it is his responsibility to eradicate them. As an Elite Righteous Guard and Commander he is honest and fair, loyal to the King. He keeps his appearance relatively unornamented as part of his Christian humility but allows himself some ornamentation on his chain mail and shield so no man can say he is trying to hide his rank on the field. He is extremely skilled with sword, axe and spear and an excellent teacher of the younger members of the Righteous Guard, always patient and calm.

Biography: Aton earned his position in the relentless skirmishing with Dalradian raiding parties. As a young man he broke his share of shield walls and established his reputation with his great axe and sense of battlefield timing. More than that his ability to retain his situational awareness and get the respect and leadership of his men brought him to the attention of a younger King Edgar and the two became firm friends.

Family: Aton has two brothers who help his father hold the lands his own skill has expanded for his family. One is a warrior born like Aton and one just works hard at being a warrior when needed but dreams of peace. His father is lame in one leg now but still rules his family with a firm easy hand that Aton envies for all his own skills in the area. His mother is a gentle presence who oversees the kitchens with easy humour and her merry laugh makes her easy to find. Aton has two young nephews from his brothers, one each, who are the hope of the family and two sisters in law he hasn't spent enough time with to know well, his duties keeping him busy.
