Physical Description: Revna stands out from the other girls because she towers at almost 6 feet. She has a strong lithe physique, but long legs and a narrow frame make her look more fragile than she is. Her hair is what prompted her mother and father to name her Revna, because from the moment of her birth it was always rich black and radiant like the feathers of a raven. She has light blue eyes that seem to beam in contrast with her hair, which is often braided back on the sides and left to flow in the back.

Personality: When Revna is working, she is very focused on her tasks with little patience for needless interruption. When she is not working she likes to laugh with a crowd, listen to the stories of the warriors of their exploits, or huddle with the other unwed women to comment and speculate on the men. Though she does as her father expects and is respectful to others, she is not demure and will freely speak her mind.

Biography: Born to a master boat builder, Revna came into the world under a new moon at the start of winter. Though both her mother and father were blonde, her hair was black as night and shimmered like the feathers of Odin's ravens Huggin and Munin Her blue eyes reminded her father of the summer seas. Her parents debated on what to call her, putting it off for several weeks until finally deciding on Revna to be deferential to Odin. Other than her striking features, she was like many of the other girls, though perhaps a bit stronger because her father put her to work as soon as she showed the ability to do as he asked. It wasn't until she blossomed that she shot up to the height of many of the men.

During her fifteenth winter, Revna's mother died from a sickness that spread through the village. Revna was also afflicted but she was able to recover. Grief stricken and wracked by guilt that she survived but her mother did not, she took on her mother's responsibilities in addition to her own, minding the house and helping her father with his craft. Because of that focus on commitment, she found little time for suitors, leaving her unwed.
