Physical Description:  He is 5’10” tall with a muscular build .He has blonde hair which he keeps tied back and blue eyes. He has a scar down his right chest where a tree he was felling fell against him.

Personality: He likes being out with nature and does not like people who treat the countryside badly.  He is quietly spoken and courteous. He does not make friends easily but when he does he is very loyal to them.

Biography:

His father was also a woodsman near a major river that runs into the North Sea.  One day while he was in the woods a Viking raiding party came up the river and attacked the village. The villagers fought back but were overwhelmed. All the inhabitants left alive were taken to be slaves and anything of any value was take on the longboats by the raiders.  My father was the only one left.

Heartbroken he left the area and travelled further inland to an area where he hoped the Vikings would not reach.  He settled there as their woodsman and carpenter and married a weaver, my mother.  I was brought up helping my father and learning his trade.  He is now too frail to do the heavy work in the woods, so that is my responsibility but he still works in the carpentry shop making tables, benches and other items for the village.
