Characters started as contestants, cast and crew of a streaming reality-tv series "Supermodel Shakedown." But after a week of folks being sidelined by a strange bug, many of folks involved find they've now got super-powers...After a terrorist attack on the Grand Hoel on Mackinac Island where filming was delayed, the survivors have been debriefed by AEGIS and are about to be relocated to Emerald city (home for many of them). There, they'll be participating in a docu-drama following the survivors as they learn what they can do with their powers and try to figure out where to go next...
The Anagensi--the organization claiming responsibility for the attack--is still after them. And they've apparently been kidnapping meta-positives in the mean-time.
