Character Concept/History:
Quinn was born into a family of medical professionals. Her mother and father were doctors with a successful family medicine practice. Her older brother and older sister both followed in their parents' footsteps, with Gregory pursuing a surgical career after finishing his MD, and Sarah studying to become a psychiatrist.

Theirs was a tight knit family, bordering on insular. Her parents had spent their lives taking care of others, and as rewarding as it was, it also meant they saw some of the worst of what humans could do to each other. It led them to be overprotective, especially where their youngest, Quinn, was concerned. She was the kind of child who loved everyone, saw the best in everyone, and her trusting nature caused her parents no end of worry. As she got older, they were careful about who she could be friends with, enforcing a tight curfew that left her social activities outside of school to a minimum. Unlike most teenagers, though, Quinn didn't mind. She loved her family, and as the rest of them were constantly busy, she took over the role of keeping their house functioning and everyone fed and happy.

As close as she was with her siblings and parents, there was one area that Quinn strongly differed from them. Despite all of their subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) urgings, Quinn had no interest working in the medical field. All she ever wanted to do, for as far back as she could remember, was become a chef. While her siblings studied, Quinn was keeping them fed with increasingly more elaborate meals. Despite her parents long and irregular hours, they would always find a healthy and tasty meal waiting for them at home, even if it was one meant for breakfast that they didn't get until suppertime. It brought Quinn great joy to putter in the kitchen and create. So when it came time for post secondary, she took her first true foray into the world by attending culinary school.

University life was eye opening for Quinn. It was still tame compared to many university experiences - she wasn't a partier, and she was focused on her studies - but she had her first boyfriend, first heartbreak, first true social circle outside of her family, even if her friends were mostly the goody-two-shoes kids like Quinn herself. For four years, she commuted from Madison to the University of Wisconsin Stout in Menomonie, finishing her Bachelors of Culinary Arts at least a little bit more worldly than she had begun.

After graduation, Quinn decided that she needed some true work experience in the food industry before pursuing her Master's. Her talent, training, and her hardworking attitude let her get a job quickly at an upscale restaurant in downtown Madison.

Quinn is fairly short and on the slender side, with mid length, wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a heart shaped, angelic looking face that makes her appear younger than she actually is. She has a preference for loose, flowy clothing, such as sundresses or flowy blouses, skirts or linen slacks.
