The thing most people notice first about Sue is her eyes: sharp, brown, with a piercing quality that cuts through the haze of assumptions most people take for granted. These are framed in a childlike, almost impish, face, and often hidden by chestnut bangs she never seems to brush.
Sue's faded, holey jeans and off-the-rack K-Mart shirt, so threadbare even a donation center wouldn't take it, give most people the impression she's ratty. She actually tries to stay as clean as she can, with the sole exception of her fingernails. Those always have a thick residue of grime underneath them. Cheap hoop earrings and a silver stud in her nose make up her typical jewelry, and she finishes off her ensemble with a pair of scuffed black army boots.
