Rachel Katz

Born in Boston to a very strict Jewish family, Rachel was raised with a very strong interest in history. Whilst educated in Miskatonic University, Rachel's family quickly married her off to a Jewish businessman before she could graduate, which Rachel resented deeply. Her husband was vile, but they kept up the appearance of a happy couple in public. For awhile, it looked as though she was doomed to a life with him, but during a cruise, Rachel and her husband got into an argument. Her husband lost his footing, almost falling into the depths of the ocean. It was then that Rachel snapped and did the unthinkable--she pushed him into the waters. With no witnesses, the police ruled it as an accident, and the courts awarded Rachel with everything her husband owned.

A few months later, Rachel found herself in another whirlwind of a romance with another business man. After six months, she married him, only to find out that he was prone to sleeping around when drunk. This time, the murder was quite premeditated. She laced his soap with arsenic, and the poison would seep through his pores a little at a time, making his death look quite natural. The police could find no evidence and no reason to check the victim's body for arsenic, and therefore ruled it as a stroke. Once again, she was awarded all his assets.

After her second husband died, Rachel played the role of a grieving widow in public, but behind close doors, she delved into her interests in history with much gusto. Nobody could stop her from doing what she wanted now, and she had the means of funding herself. She funded several expeditions, bringing in priceless artifacts from allover the world.
