Oriana

Name: Oriana
Age: 30
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 115 lbs.
Hair Color and style: Chestnut-brown and flowing in tresses down her back
Eye Color: Green
Personal colors and symbol: Blue and Gold. Her personal symbol is a Unicorn rampant against a field of Nolava's cloud forest.
Parents: Merlin and Coral

Oriana is the child Merlin sired on Coral when both were under the compulsion of the Primal Pattern of Amber. Coral, fearing the schemers in Amber and Chaos, left her child to be raised by Merlin's father, in the new universe of his creation. Corwin entrusted Oriana to his courtiers in the earliest years, but once he had Lorraine at his side and order in Avalon, he effectively raised the girl alongside his own children. Being older than Corwin's children, Oriana found herself playing big sister much of the time, at least when she wasn't holed up in the Library, or taking trips to visit her father in Chaos in the other universe. She saw her biological parents infrequently but often enough to develop a bond with them.

Around twenty or so, Oriana began to chafe at being holed up in Castle Camelot. Corwin's older kids probably remember a period of her wandering around the castle grounds, sighing a lot. She was eventually allowed to explore the nearby forest, but it wasn't until she was twenty-two that she found a release. Despite the fact that there were guards with her, none of them report seeing her when she met a young Unicorn in the woods. She's never told any of you what passed between her and the Unicorn, but it was shortly after that that Corwin and Lorraine gave her a giant hawk and let her fly up to Nolava. She was attached to the Court there, overseen by the Lord Arthur Pendragon. She found love with Arthur, and so, a few years later, she wed him. And Corwin named her as Queen of Nolava.

Oriana is still your friendly big sister figure, even if duties of state occupy her time a lot these days. She's also a sorceress of not-inconsiderable skill and power, which might have been a result of those long hours in the Library. Or maybe an innate talent? No one knows for sure. And your father does not speak of her other lineage, from the other universe. Or what Powers might have their eye on her. All anyone knows is that she Walked the Pattern in Castle Camelot's catacombs, and the Power is with her.
