Every family appears to produce one relatively calm and quiet individual who seems faintly exhausted by their relations. In Corwin's Brood, that individual is Tamlin, of the Red and Green.

As a scholarly sort the Royal Archive is very nearly a hobby to him. Still, he travels frequently in search of rare documents and artifacts to add to the collection. Two years ago his retinue lost him for nearly a month during a long sojourn, he returned whole one night but they cut the trip short.

These days he looks a bit tired and strange things happen around him from time to time. Some say he must have been cursed. Others are pretty sure there's a woman he fancies and he's just remarkably good at keeping it discreet.
